To date, the album has sold 318,000 copies in the US. The album Finally Famous debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 charts, with the first-week sales of 87,000 copies in the US. Personally this is my favourite song on the album as it contains a sample of “Breakeven” by The Script and with BIG’s lyrics it defines his style on the album.

The album includes many features such as Chris Brown, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Pharrell, The Dream and Wiz Khalifa with Mike Posner producing “Don’t tell me you love me”. In contrast to the song “Memories” featuring John Legend where he’s singing to a very chilled out beat. His lyrics show the diversity of his talent between singing and rapping, this is noticeable in the song “Dance” featuring Nicki Minaj where he Raps with flow and speed. The album Finally Famous is a very honest account on how much work he put into music to achieve what he has to date, In March and July of 2011 Big Sean released two singles, “My Last” featuring R&B singer Chris brown and then “Marvin & Chardonnary” respectively. After this he signed to Kanye’s record label G.O.O.D in 2007 and in 2010 he released Mix tape ‘Finally Famous Vol.
